Kitchen garden
Accessed via the kitchen this enclosed ‘walled’ courtyard garden is a suntrap in the morning and the ideal setting for a leisurely breakfast surrounded by the scent of flowers and shrubs and birdsong.
Immediately behind the house and extending for miles is the forest of Rochecotte a natural habitat to all forms of bird life as well as deer and wild boar. The forest can be accessed direct from the kitchen garden via the woodland garden which has been left as a natural habitat/ environment for wildlife.

Barbeque area
Accessed via the kitchen garden the barbeque area has a built in barbeque together with a table and chairs for ten people in the shade of a large tree. The barbeque area can also be accessed from the main garden.

Main garden
Impressive stone steps lead down from the upper garden and barbeque area to the main garden where there are several mature fir trees, some of which are 100ft tall. Here you will also find several fir trees, apple, pear, fig and bay trees offering a profusion of colours and scents. The lawned areas offer a choice of quiet spots where you can relax with a book or just enjoy listening to bird song.

Front of house
The front door of the house opens onto a lawned area with a large stone fountain and parking spaces for 6 cars. As it is west facing it benefits from the sun from late morning to early evening. The old cottages also overlook this area.

Driveway
Access to the property from the road running through the village is via wooden gates opening onto a driveway with the main garden on the right hand side and a smaller garden to the left. The driveway leads up to the old cottages and garage before turning right to the front of the house. The house and gardens cannot be seen from the road due to a 12 ft high stone wall running the length of the property.
